BIPOC representation, especially in outdoor spaces, are so important. It sends a message of who is welcome in these spaces and allows a sense of comfortability to individuals. PDX Climbers of Color has been an essential part of my growth as a climber and in just my own personal identity journey.
This magazine cover is a fun mock up, showing strong climbers from the Climbers of Color group. A fun re-imagination of what it would look like to see us in the outdoors as the norm and not just the exception.
